Terms and Conditions.
Introduction:
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern The Upshot Six Nations Predictor ("Competition") organised by The Upshot and its partner, Hunch ("Organisers"). By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility:
The Competition is open to all individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and have signed up to The Upshot and created an active account. Employees of the Organisers, their affiliates, and their immediate family members are eligible to participate in the Competition.
Competition Period:
The Competition will begin on 26th January 2024 and end on 16th March 2024.
Prizes:
The winner of the Competition will receive £100 worth of Amazon vouchers. Second and third in the competition will each receive Upshot Gold membership for a year. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation. Participants must have an active account on The Upshot.
Winner Selection:
The winner of the Competition will be selected based on the best score recorded in the Competition. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the random draw. Players can view their scores and overall position on the leaderboard tab in the game. Second and third will be selected based on the second and third best scores recorded in the Competition (respectivaly).
Announcement of Winner:
The winners of the Competition will be announced on 18th March 2024 and will be notified via the email associated with sign up.
Claiming the Prize:
The winners must claim the prize within 7 days of the announcement of the winners. If the winners do not claim the prize within the specified time frame, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The prize winner's email must be verified through Hunch in order to claim their prize.
Limitation of Liability:
The Organisers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Competition or the prize, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of The Upshot.
Modification of Terms:
The Organisers reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. If there are changes, these will be communicated to the email associated with sign up.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Dispute Resolution:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom. By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
