Terms and Conditions.
Introduction:
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern Golfbreaks Fantasy - The Masters ("Competition") organised by Golfbreaks and its partner, Hunch ("Organisers"). By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility:
The Competition is open to all individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and have created an active account on the Hunch platform. Please note it is open to residents of any country except Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, the Philippines, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Agreement:
By participating in this game, you acknowledge and expressly agree to be added to the Golfbreaks email newsletter database. As a subscribed member of this database, you will typically receive one email communication per calendar month, which may include promotional offers, updates, and other relevant information. By providing your consent, you confirm your understanding that you may opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email.
Competition Period:
The Competition will run from Thursday 10th April to Sunday 13th April 2025.
Prizes:
The winner of the Competition will receive a 4 night golf break to Hotel Camiral Golf & Wellness in Spain which includes:
- 4 nights, bed & breakfast and 3 rounds of golf for 2 people
- Based on 2 people sharing (standard room)
- Subject to availability
- Travel by 31st December 2025
- Return economy flights (max price of £500 in total). Does not include extra baggage over the allotted allowance or upgrades
- Transfers not included
Second place will receive a £1,000 Golfbreaks voucher; third place will receive a £750 Golfbreaks voucher; fourth place will receive a £500 Golfbreaks voucher and fifth place will receive £250 Golfbreaks voucher. In addition the biggest private league (minimum size 20+) will receive £1,000 split out in Golfbreaks vouchers; the vouchers will be split to the Top 20 performers of the league with each receiving a £50 voucher.
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
Golfbreaks Golf Vouchers can only be exchanged for full or part payment of a golf break booked through us, either by contacting: Calling Golfbreaks on 0800 279 7988 or email sales@golfbreaks.com. Voucher CANNOT be used towards the booking that was made to enter the previous Golfbreaks promotions. Vouchers may not be used directly at any of our hotels or golf courses. Golfbreaks golf vouchers cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be split over more than one booking. A Golfbreaks voucher cannot be redeemed on transactions that have already been processed by Golfbreaks. If the golf break purchased totals less than the value of the golf voucher, no refund whether monetary or in the form of golf vouchers, will be given. Nor can credit card balance be redeemed against subsequent bookings. Golfbreaks monetary vouchers are valid until 30th June 2026. Golfbreaks vouchers are non-transferable.
Winner Selection:
The winner of the Competition will be selected based on the best score recorded in the Competition. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the tiebreaker. Players can view their scores and overall position on the leaderboard tab in the game. Second, third, fourth, and fifth places will be selected based on the second, third, fourth, and fifth best scores recorded in the Competition. The prize for the largest private league will be split equally between the top 20 players in the league which has the most players joining it. If two or more private leagues have the same number of new players in them then a random draw will take place to select the winners.
Announcement of Winner:
The winners will be announced the following week of the Competition and will be notified via the email associated with sign up.
Claiming the Prize:
The winner must claim the prize within seven days of the announcement. If the winner does not claim the prize within the specified time frame, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The prize winner's email must be verified through Hunch in order to claim their prize.
Promotional offers:
Golfbreaks are offering fantasy golf players a 5% discount off any golf trip booked in the next 90 days (offer ends July 12 2025). Offer only valid for new Golfbreaks customers or existing Golfbreaks customers that have not booked a trip with Golfbreaks in the last 5 years. Relevant discount % will be displayed clearly within all requested quotes and appear on all customer confirmations when a booking is made. Discount code must be referenced when making an online enquiry or quoted over the phone to ensure the discount is applied. Discount cannot be applied retrospectively once a deposit has been paid to secure the booking. Discount cannot be applied to Golfbreaks events or tournaments. Discount cannot be applied in conjunction with any other Golfbreaks promotion (e.g., Early Birdie), however, can be used together with venue promotions (E.g., 1 in 16 goes free or 20% off drinks). 5% Discount can be applied to any group size to the maximum value of £100 discount per booking.
Limitation of Liability:
The Organisers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Competition or the prize, including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits.
Modification of Terms:
The Organisers reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. If there are changes, these will be communicated to the email associated with sign-up.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Dispute Resolution:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom. By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
