Terms and Conditions.
Introduction:
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern Derbyshire Falcons Matchday Predictor ("Competition") organised by Derbyshire Falcons and its partner, Hunch ("Organisers"). By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility:
The Competition is open to all individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and created an active account on the Hunch platform. Employees of the Organisers, their affiliates, and their immediate family members are eligible to participate in the Competition.
Competition Period:
The Competition will run for every Vitality Blast game and begin on 3rd June 2024 for the duration of the competition. This includes all Vitality Blast Fixures and any play-off games and will run until the conclusion of Derbyshire Falcons’ participation in this competition.
Prizes:
The standard prize for the winner each matchday will get two tickets to a Vitality Blast home match of their choice. These are general admission tickets only and cannot be exchanged or upgraded. Participants must have a verified email on the Hunch platform. Some matches will feature a special prize and these are clearly stipulated on the prize page.
There is a season long prize available to the player who tops the overall (Game) leaderboad at the end of the compeition. The player who does this will win a 2025 "Blast Pass" and signed shirt. If two players have the same score then a random draw will take place to determine the winner.
There is a prize awared by random draw to any player that submits predictions for the final group stage game against Durham on Friday 19th July. The winner will receive a shirt signed by Mohammad Amir provided they follow the Derbyshire, Mohammad Amir and Hunch Instagram accouts and like the competition post.
Winner Selection:
Each match, the winner will be selected based on the best score recorded. In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker (total runs scored in the match) will be used to deem the winner. If a tie still remains after the use of the tie-breaker, then the winner will be determined based on a random draw. Players can view their scores and overall position on the leaderboard tab in the game.
The random draw for the Mohammad Amir competition will be udertaken at random, where any player that has met the compeition criteria will be selected at random.
Announcement of Winner:
The winners will be announced following each match and will be notified via the email associated with sign up.
Claiming the Prize:
The winners must claim the prize within seven days of the announcement of the winners. If the winners do not claim the prize within the specified time frame, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The prize winner's email must be verified through Hunch in order to claim their prize. Prizes can be redeemed by emailing info@derbyshireccc.com.
Limitation of Liability:
The Organisers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Competition or the prize, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, Derbyshire Falcons.
Modification of Terms:
The Organisers reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. If there are changes, these will be communicated to the email associated with sign up.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Dispute Resolution:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom. By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
